Let Robbie (and 60 other artists) entertain you…
Robbie Williams has partnered with hometown ceramics factory 1882 Ltd. and The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery to stage an exhibition of his artworks in Stoke-on-Trent. Robbie’s four ceramic artworks are joined by 60 plates designed by artists and designers who have all donated a piece of artwork for the ‘100 Years, 60 Designers & 1 Future’ exhibition at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Part of year-long celebrations marking the centenary of Stoke-on-Trent gaining city status, the exhibition now runs until 7 December 2025.
Vintage speed trials at Grimsthorpe
A throwback to the days when a historic Lincolnshire castle was a top spot for speed trialling is set to rekindle motorsports nostalgia this month. A celebration of pre-war motorsport, at the Grimsthorpe Estate on Saturday 5 July aims to revive the spirit of pre-war speed trialling which began in the Castle’s old deer park in 1903. Glam & Gloom in Hull
A decade that saw glam rock bands, sunshine holidays and great British TV shows mixed with rising inflation and endless strikes will be the focus of a new exhibition at Hull’s free-to-enter Streetlife Museum from this month. Turning the clocks back to a world before the internet, smartphones and social media, Glam & Gloom – 1970s Britain will explore the highs and hardships of life in the 1970s (10 July – 31 August 2025).
Yorkshire Giant looms large over East Yorkshire
Back for 2025, the free-to-attend ‘Giant Bradley Day’ returns to Market Weighton on 13 July. Named after William Bradley – also known as Giant Bradley, or the Yorkshire Giant – the day features around 45 stalls, as well as an aerial theatre in the Memorial Playing Fields. Bradley was the tallest ever Englishman, measuring seven foot nine inches, who lived all his life in the town, where a statue stands in his memory.
It’s all sweet at ‘lost’ gardens
Visitors to Lincolnshire’s very own ‘lost gardens’ can experience one its most colourful and fragrant displays throughout July. Easton Walled Gardens’ Sweet Pea Season offers blooms in stripes, picotee, light pastels and deep velvet tones. A 450-year-old garden abandoned to nature for 50 years before being restored, Easton’s sweet peas will be in full flower for about a month. Admission is £12 adults and £5 children (4-16 years).
Hot Jazz and cool Blues in East Yorkshire

Taking place 11 to 13 July, the festival is set in the grounds of one of England’s finest homes, East Yorkshire’s Burton Agnes Hall, and once again boasts a top line-up of bands. A Tea Tent, a Food Lawn, a Vintage Ice Cream Van and award-winning local Wold Top beers complete the weekend’s vibes.
