Trentham lines-up some major Easter treats for Spring reopening

Easter treats at award-winning Trentham Gardens include the chance for families to ‘Potter’ around a Peter Rabbit™ trail as well as enjoy time together with a scenic picnic, in a private Garden Gazebo hired for the day.

With restrictions set to ease further from March 29, visitors will be able to hop along to Trentham, on the edge of Stoke-on-Trent, for a post lockdown treat featuring a self-guided trail featuring characters from Beatrix Potter’s best-loved tales.

Due to run until April 18, the Peter Rabbit™ trail, dotted around the Italian Gardens, will have clues to solve, and visitors correctly spelling out the secret word will win a tasty treat.
Clue sheets can be picked up from the Garden Entrance and the trail will cost £2.50 per person, in addition to the normal garden admission.

Trentham’s Gazebo hire scheme is designed to offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the Gardens in their own bubble combined with the outdoor dining experience of bespoke picnics.

Available from Monday 29 March, the Gazebos and picnics must be pre booked. Gazebos are booked on a per day basis 10am-4pm and cost £30-£45, in addition to the usual garden admission.

As well as a chance to escape the house and enjoy the Great Outdoors and nature, April and May will also be the best time to see Trentham’s annual Spring Bulb Festival, with this year’s event promising an even bigger display with thousands of extra bulbs – including six new ‘hanging basket’ boat displays on the lake.

A kaleidoscope of jewel colours combined with fragrant flowers will fill the garden with the sights and smells of Spring in pots dotted around the 10 acres of Italianate Gardens.
