The words “all-new” and “Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau” have taken on fresh meaning in recent months – following the appearance of a new Conference Guide, new Conference Bureau Co-ordinator, and several new members across one of the largest counties of Britain.
Having worked previously at Wychwood Park Hotel and Golf Club, Paige Boardman is now flying the flag for the Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Bureau and its members – and was on-hand at Swinfen Hall Hotel to help host the launch of the new look Guideat the beginning of October.
Multi-award-winning Swinfen Hall Hotel itself was also celebrating the opening, this August, of a new facility for groups, corporate team building days and other outdoor events: a new courtyard garden behind the ballroom, which not only provides extensive al fresco seating but also gives direct access to the front parkland.
The occasion also celebrated “six of the best” additions to the Bureau’s portfolio, including the National Memorial Arboretum, which will soon be opening its major new ‘Aspects’ Conference & Events Centre. Set to become a contemporary facility, providing seven flexible spaces for between 12 and 500 guests, Aspects is a dedicated events’ building boasting a spectacular main suite with views across the arboretum.
Other new members include St Georges Park, the home of England’s 28 national football teams, situated in 330 acres of stunning Staffordshire countryside; Gradbach Mill, an 18thcentury silk spinning mill which now provides accommodation, conference and outdoor facilities; Great Grounds Business & Education Centre, a multi-functional venue for meetings, exhibitions, training and team building activities set in 25 acres of woodlands and meadows; The Crow’s Nest at the Waterfront,a perfect venue for meetings, conferences & team-building events overlooking Barton Marina; and Beaconwood Park, located on the outskirts of Stafford, and offering an affordable conferencing and training environment for a range of needs.
Not everything at the Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference is new, however.
Over the years, the Bureau has also built-up wide-spread recognition for its Venue Finding Service, which ensures that clients get a full proposal of venues back within 5 hours.
