There’s more than a few surprises in Staffordshire for 2017 with a new-look website highlighting a range of great-value short-breaks offering everything from family fun to romantic getaways – with prices starting at just £145 for a family of four.
Whether it’s thrills, spills and adventure at world-class theme parks, or glorious gardens, historic attractions and retail therapy, the new-look website just launched by Enjoy Staffordshire gives visitors a chance to pick their own bargain short break.
Visitors can combine a choice of attractions with a wide range of accommodation…all at a fraction of the price it would cost them to put together a similar holiday.
It all adds up to savings of up to 65% through the ‘Staffordsheer Escapes’ website, which is now fully responsive and boasts new-look navigation, making it even easier to choose and book short breaks whether using a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
From £145 a family of four can stay overnight and choose three fun filled visits to a range of family attractions and activities including Trentham Gardens, National Forest Adventure Farm and Conkers.
Surprising Staffordshire is home to – amongst other attractions – Alton Towers Resort, Drayton Manor Park, The SnowDome, The National Brewery Centre, The Trentham Estate with the UK’s only Monkey Forest, The World of Wedgwood, a fair share of The Peak District, the Cathedral City of Lichfield and the National Memorial Arboretum, which recently opened a new £15.7m Remembrance Centre.
The new website features quick links to the three key elements of ‘Staffordsheer Escapes’: ‘Family Breaks’, ‘Short Breaks for 2’, covering cultural and garden attractions, and the popular theme park discount pass, the ‘Thrill Hopper’.
For Family Breaks and fun filled weekends away with the kids, visitors can choose an Alton Towers break, Drayton Manor package or Family Fun deal, while Short Breaks for 2 is aimed at those looking for a romantic weekend away, a relaxing weekend break, a value for money night away with a friend, or maybe some quality mother and daughter time.
Thrill Hopper is a discount ticket that covers entry to top theme parks Alton Towers Resort and Drayton Manor Park, as well as the water rides, slides and bubble pools at Waterworld and snowplay, ice skating and sledging at SnowDome. ThrillHopper costs £60 for a single pass or £170 for a family.
